Nexus College is committed to supporting students with disabilities and accessibility needs. Students may request academic accommodation where a disability-related barrier affects their access to learning, participation, assessments, or services.
Accommodation requests may relate to areas such as:

Requests should include enough information to help the College understand the barrier and the type of support being requested. Nexus College will review accommodation requests respectfully, confidentially, and on an individual basis.
Students requesting accommodation are encouraged to:
notify the College as early as possible;
provide relevant information or documentation where reasonably required;
participate in the accommodation planning process;
communicate if an accommodation is not working or needs to be reviewed;

Accommodations are intended to provide equal access and remove barriers. They do not remove essential academic or professional requirements of a course or program. Students must still meet the required learning outcomes, academic standards, professional expectations, and graduation requirements.

Nexus College is committed to reviewing and improving accessibility practices over time. The College will update its accessibility practices as needed to reflect student needs, technology changes, operational changes, and applicable legal requirements.
Nexus College of Business, Health & Technology is committed to providing clear, fair, and transparent information about tuition, fees, withdrawals, cancellations, and refunds.
This Refund Policy applies to students who apply to or enrol in programs offered by Nexus College. Refunds for vocational programs will be administered in accordance with applicable Ontario career college legislation, regulations, official enrolment contracts, and Ministry requirements.
Nexus College of Business, Health & Technology is in the process of completing registration and program approval requirements under Ontario’s career college regulatory framework. Program availability, admissions, tuition, start dates, and refund rules may be subject to regulatory approval where applicable.
Once a student signs an official enrolment contract, the refund terms in that contract and applicable Ontario career college requirements will apply.
Ontario requires career colleges to include their fee refund policy in every contract with a student.
Nexus College will process eligible refunds in a fair and timely manner. Refund eligibility may depend on:
the date the student signed the enrolment contract;
the date the student submitted written notice of withdrawal;
the official program start date;
whether the student started the program;
how much of the program or course has been completed;
whether the program is delivered online, in person, or through another format;
whether the student was expelled according to the College’s Expulsion Policy;
whether any non-refundable service fee or earned portion of tuition applies.
Students who wish to withdraw from a program must provide written notice to Nexus College.
Written notice may be submitted by email to:
Nexus College of Business, Health & Technology
Email: admin@nexuscollege.ca
Website: www.nexuscollege.ca
The effective date of withdrawal will normally be the date the College receives the student’s written withdrawal notice, unless otherwise required by law or stated in the official enrolment contract.
A student may be eligible for a refund if they withdraw before the program begins or if they do not meet admission requirements before the program starts.
Ontario’s career college refund information states that a student may be entitled to a refund of fees paid for a program, less a service fee equal to 20% of the program fees or $500, whichever is lower, depending on the circumstances.
Where applicable under Ontario career college requirements, a student may have the right to cancel or rescind an enrolment contract within the required period after receiving a copy of the contract.
Any refund related to contract cancellation or rescission will be handled according to the official student contract and applicable Ontario regulations.
If a student withdraws or is expelled after the program begins, refund eligibility may depend on how much of the program has been delivered or completed.
For online or distance education programs, Ontario’s career college refund framework includes rules based on the number of program segments requiring evaluation and the number of evaluated segments returned to the student.
Because Nexus College plans to offer online programs, the final refund calculation should be based on the official enrolment contract, approved program structure, and applicable Ontario career college requirements.
If a student is expelled from Nexus College in accordance with the College’s Expulsion Policy, any refund will be calculated according to the official enrolment contract and applicable Ontario career college refund rules.
Expulsion does not automatically mean that a student is or is not entitled to a refund. The refund amount, if any, will depend on the timing, program status, fees paid, and applicable regulatory requirements.
If Nexus College cancels a program before it begins, or discontinues a program before completion, students may be entitled to a refund according to applicable Ontario career college requirements and the official enrolment contract.
Eligible refunds will be processed within the timeframe required by applicable Ontario career college requirements.
Ontario’s public student information states that a career college is required to issue a fee refund within 30 days in certain withdrawal, cancellation, or expulsion situations.
Refunds will normally be issued using the original method of payment where possible, unless another method is required or agreed to by the College.
All refunds will be issued in Canadian dollars unless otherwise required by law or stated in the official enrolment contract.
Depending on the circumstances and applicable law, certain amounts may be non-refundable or deductible from a refund, such as:
a permitted service fee;
the earned portion of tuition;
fees for program portions already delivered or evaluated;
approved materials, resources, or services already provided;
other amounts permitted by Ontario career college requirements.
Students are responsible for reading and understanding:
the official enrolment contract;
the program fee schedule;
payment deadlines;
withdrawal procedures;
refund rules;
academic and attendance expectations;
program approval or regulatory notices, where applicable.
Students should contact Nexus College before signing an enrolment contract if they have questions about tuition, fees, withdrawals, or refunds.
